Etching process of slit sheet

metal etching is photochemical etching, which involves surface treatment of metal material, degreasing and polishing of the surface, exposure and development after being covered with photosensitive ink, cooling, and then entering the etching stage, where dissolved areas are decomposed by ferric oxide with high concentration and strong acid to form bumps or hollows.

Now I'll take you into the etching process of slit sheet, and how to understand the actual operation workflow of etching process.

1. CAD drawing design: The acceptable thickness range in etching machine is 0.01MM-2MM, and the maximum size is 500*1500MM, which will cause jamming if it cannot be put on the assembly line platform in etching machine. CAD drawings belong to professional engineering drawings and can be measured by professional personnel.

2. Preparation of raw materials: according to the requirements of drawings, metal materials with corresponding sizes are cut by automatic cutting machine.

3. Pretreatment stage: oil removal, impurity removal, cleaning and other processes are carried out on the metal material to ensure the integrity of the material so as to avoid making abnormal products.

4. Pressing (film pasting) stage: enter the roller coating stage, cover the metal surface with photosensitive ink and dry it, and the indoor constant temperature is high.

5. Exposure stage: attach the prepared metal film with a metal layer and expose it with an exposure machine. The simple understanding is that the pattern of the metal film is exposed to the metal material with an exposure machine, thus forming a patterned metal plate.

6. Development stage: after the pattern is exposed, it is developed by a developing machine, so that the pattern appears on the metal plate, and the ink can be filled manually. Due to the high temperature in the development stage, the plate is softened.

7. Drying stage: Based on the above-mentioned process, the plate is relatively soft, and direct etching is easy to cause deformation. Therefore, it is necessary to cool and dry to form a hard plate again.

8. Etching: The chemical composition of the etching solution is ferric chloride, which is fused with water to produce a high-concentration strong acid solution. When the part with photosensitive ink forms a protective layer, it will not cause dissolution, while the unprotected part exposed to the outside will react with strong acid to dissolve. Etching requires high speed and time, so different products need to be made into the first piece to debug the parameters of the machine, and then the finished products are tested to form the required products, and then the parameter values are set to a fixed value, so as to achieve comprehensive batch production, similar to the way of engraving.

9. Stripping (stripping operation): After the etching is completed, the photosensitive ink layer in the protection part still exists, so it is necessary to enter the next process again, that is, stripping operation, and the photosensitive ink layer is stripped off by means of acid, alkali and water to form a complete pattern product.

10. Inspection, packaging and delivery: the manufactured products are disassembled and packaged, and the parameter values are evaluated by secondary inspection instruments to form professional product production reports, which are packaged and sent to customers.
